Rhythm Rising Quartet
Rhythm Rising Quartet is a talented ensemble of Hudson Valley musicians, led by Grammy-nominated percussionist Tomas Martin Lopez. Their music blends Afro-Caribbean Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova, and Samba, with the vibraphone adding a smooth yet fiery drive.
The quartet includes Victor Catanzaro on Vibraphone, Doug Correllus on Piano, Ron Figueroa on Bass, and Tomas Martin Lopez on Percussion.
The Rhythm Rising Quartet masterfully honors traditional Latin Jazz artists such as Cal Tjader, Tito Puente, and Mongo Santamaria. In addition to paying homage to these legends, they also infuse their set lists with a blend of original compositions and beloved standards.
