Peekskill Riverfront Green Cleanup

The #PeekskillCleanRoutine Team will be at the Riverfront Green on Saturday morning, January 27th, at 10am for a long overdue cleanup.

It takes a village — if you can spare a half hour between 10 and noon — we could surely use the help! If any of our awesome teens need community service hours for National Honor Society or Confirmation, this is a great opportunity to get some hours! Bring your service sheet and I will sign off for you.

Dress warm! Bags and gloves will be provided and we will have refreshments for all, thanks to a very thoughtful and generous neighbor. Bring a rake if you’d like to help clean up some of the twigs and driftwood along the shoreline — our winged friends will be most grateful. Even if you’re unable to participate in the cleanup, we welcome anyone who’d like to donate water, hot beverages or snacks for the cleanup crew. Be part of something wonderful in your own hometown — community stewardship at its best!
