MG Organ Quartet with Miles Griffith
- hi The MG Organ 4-O Quartet is a new group composed of Band Leader Jazz Artists with the common lineage of being born and/or raised in the musical family of NYC. The band members are: Miles Griffith-Vocals/Original Compositions, Jeff Lederer-Saxophone/Original Compositions, Ian MacDonald-Organ/Compositions and Taru Alexander-Drums/Original Compositions. Collectively, they have been side men with Wynton Marsalis, Jon Hendricks, Allison Miller, Matt Wilson, Roland Alexander, Abbey Lincoln and Roy Hargrove.
MG Organ 4-O Quartets original compositions have a lot of jazz, soul, groove, calyp-soul, beauty, space, freeness and a little bit of everything like a spicy hot pot of brown stew chicken with some cook-up rice.
