Flier for "Harriet" Film Screening at Lincoln Depot Museum

“Harriet” Film Screening

oin in one of this year’s first Peekskill commemorations of Juneteenth – the observance of a symbolic day when former slaves finally learned that they were free.

Among her notable quotes, she was reported to have said:

“Slavery is the next thing to hell.”

Join us at the museum for screening of the 2019 Feature Film: Harriet, and learn more about this extraordinary woman and her extraordinary life.
