Flier for FDR and the CCC at the Lincoln Depot Museum

FDR and the CCC

Join us for an in depth look at the creation and successes of President Roosevelt’s Civilian Conservation Corps – one of the most popular New Deal programs of The Great Depression. Initially open to unemployed, unmarried men aged 18 to 25, this voluntary government work-relief program supplied manual labor jobs related to the conservation and development of natural resources. Some of the most notable architectural achievements in this region are a direct result of this program!
