Emily Mazzella Jazz Quartet

Emily Mazzella is a 21-year-old, up and coming jazz singer on the scene. Her story with jazz is one that grows deeper in passion every day. Coming from R & B, Pop, and all various roots: Emily began to study voice with Jazz Pianist, Composer, and Vocal Coach Lonnie Leibowitz, in her junior year of high school. She began studying at Suny Purchase College, in the Jazz Studies program in Fall of 2020, where she was mentored by Alexis Cole, Pete Malinverni, Gary Smulyan, Ralph Lalama, and others.

In 2020, Emily released her first E.P. “Freedom of the Note”, a powerful and transformational moment in her career. She is now releasing her first full length recording, “Awakening” (Solar Dream Records). Emily has performed at Birdland Jazz Club, the Jones Beach Theater, and numerous NYC clubs.
