CHHOPTOBERFEST!
It’s CHHOPtoberfest! A collaboration between CHHOP and local craft sandwich & provisions shop, Benny’s Brown Bag, to benefit Fred’s Pantry in Peekskill.
Fred’s Pantry is the largest local resource providing fresh, nutritious food items for those in the community facing food insecurity.
Benny’s created a German-themed CHHOPtoberfest sandwich, to be featured the week of October 2nd – 6th: The FO’ SCHNITZEL is house-made crusted pork tenderloin, fresh lemon, house-made apple butter, krautsalat, sauerkraut, whole grain mustard on butter toasted thick cut marble rye.
A limited-edition CHHOPtoberfest farmer’s market tote will be available to purchase – only at Benny’s – with all profits going to support CHHOP’s Farm-to-Food Pantry in Peekskill. Customers can utilize a QR code in the shop to donate directly to our community resource.
