Art or Merch? Marcy B. Freedman Art Exhibition

Artist and art historian Marcy B. Freedman has assembed a vareity of objects that may or may not be considered art! During the COVID 19 quarantine, Freedman created hundreds of digital collages which she then out put in a variety of ways. If she sent the .jpg out to be printed on canvas, she could call the result a work of art — right?. If she sent the same .jpg out to be printed on a mug or a tee shirt — well, what then? Art of Merch? That is the question!
